"cogito ergo sum"
I have been researching into Artificial Intelligence officially for about six months now. The one topic that has caught my interest is that of Embodied Cognitive Science. The thought that our embodiment and our interactions with the environment influence our thoughts seems to trump the "cogito ergo sum" school of philosophy that Rene Descartes started.
The idea that we think what we think the way we think because of how we are built and how we interact with our environment seems to suggest something diametrically opposite to "cogito ergo sum".
