Klocwork Announces Support for TI CCStudio IDE

has announced the integration of its Klocwork Insight source code analysis suite with the Code Composer Studio v4 Eclipse-based IDE from Texas Instruments. Offered as a plug-in to IDEs based on Eclipse, Klocwork Insight is intended to give embedded software development teams early detection of critical coding errors in their source code.

"Klocwork Insight's support for the Eclipse IDE framework allows us to offer seamless integration with Code Composer Studio v4," says Klocwork's Alen Zukich. "Now embedded developers who have made CCStudio their IDE of choice can utilize a feature-rich, highly productive environment to develop high-quality, defect-free embedded applications without changes to their established development processes."

CCstudio v4 combines the advantages of Eclipse with advanced debugging capabilities from TI, resulting in a cohesive environment with an array of features for embedded processing. Klocwork Insight is designed to seamlessly integrate into IDEs like CCStudio v4, as well as via the Klocwork Desktop and the command line, enabling developers to check-in clean code.
