So one of the prerequisites of being a programmer seems to be to have strong opinions about things you don't really know much about.


So one of the prerequisites of being a programmer seems to be to have strong opinions about things you don't really know much about.

One of the things I hate most about the industry are when people state strong opinions about things they really know very little about. Stroustrup lamented this fact in a famous usenet posting.
