You might remember the One Instruction Wonder -- a transfer triggered CPU I published in DDJ a while back. The Tampere University of Technology in Finland has done a lot of work producing their TCE tools for exploring transfer triggered CPUs. Like any toolchain, though, its always a challenge getting things set up. Luckily, there is now a VirtualBox image that has Ubuntu 10.04 set up with TCE 1.2 ready to go. If you wanted to play with TCE, this makes it simple. Grab it at ftp://ftp.cs.tut.fi/pub/tce/
