The SIIA CODiE award finalists have been announced. The CODiE Awards, originally called the "Excellence in Software Awards," were established in 1986 by the Software Publishers Association (SPA), now the Software & Information Industry Association (SIIA), so that pioneers of the then-nascent software industry could evaluate and honor each other's work.
A CODiE Awards Finalist Showcase, featuring Software and Content Award Finalists, will be held on Monday night, May 4, at the Palace Hotel in San Francisco in conjunction with the SIIA NetGain and the SIIA Software Summit conferences.
SIIA members attending these two conferences will cast their ballots during a third and final round of voting that takes place during the CODiE Finalist Showcase. Nonmembers attending will be invited to cast their ballots for Showcase favorites.
Award winners will be announced the following night during the CODiE Awards Reception & Gala, which concludes both conferences on Tuesday, May 5.
