An Extreme Programming Episode
If you have heard anything about the Extreme Programming paradigm, you have probably heard of one of its most novel practices - pair programming. In pair programming, two programmers sit down side-by-side to write code together. One person drives the keyboard and the other one offers a kind of instantaneous code review. Sound weird? It doesn't have to be; in fact, it can be fun. This article shows what it might be like to participate in a pair programming session. It also demonstrates, in a roundabout way, that two heads really can be better than one.
