In an effort to end speculation about the future of OpenJDK, Oracle's Henrik Stahl blogged on the subject yesterday. Unlike with OpenSolaris, Oracle plans to fully support Sun's open-source Java efforts under the GPL v2 license model, and do all development for the platform out in the open.
