Palm, DeviceAnywhere Offer Virtual Developer LabPalm opens a virtual testing lab that puts developers in control of live Palm devices.
Palm has partnered with mobile device testing-service provider DeviceAnywhere to offer a "Virtual Developer Lab" testing service for several recent Palm-based devices. Currently, the service lists the following devices:
and claims to be adding many more devices in the future. The service is run by DeviceAnywhere, and provides online metered access to live devices for application testing through a web browser. Users can do anything with the phones that would be possible in person (short of dropping it on the floor, presumably). San Mateo, CA-based DeviceAnywhere currently offers this sort of service for over 900 different mobile devices.
