iOS 7.1 Beta Now Available To Developers

Apple has released the beta version of iOS 7.1 to its developer portal. The new version has bug fixes and performance enhancements (you expected that), but there is also a new toggle for "dark keyboard" in the Accessibility settings.

Apple's developer program costs $99 per year and only a limited amount of information is available to those who do not subscribe.

This beta of iOS 7.1 will run on the iPad Air, iPad 2, iPad 3, iPad 4, and iPad mini with Retina display. This developer mobile OS will also run on the iPad mini and most iPhone 5 models, with the iPhone 4 and iPod touch (fifth-generation only) also included.

There will also now be a user function/option available to upload "burst mode photos" to Photo Stream for iPhone 5s users.

Apple developers will now find support for iOS SDK 7.1 as well as X code tools and compilers (the Xcode IDE and the Instruments analysis tool) among the programmer options available. These are also said to be simulator/testing options available in this update to sharpen the final developer application result.

According to Apple, "The Xcode developer toolset [is] tightly integrated with the Cocoa and Cocoa Touch frameworks, creating a productive and intuitive development environment that is powerful enough to be used by Apple to produce OS X and iOS."
