Cloud Development Tools in Visual Studio 2010
Visual Studio 2010 provides excellent support for developing applications that reside in the cloud.
For instance, you can use Windows Azure tools for Visual Studio 2010 to create, build, configure, debug, and deploy applications and services for the cloud. To work with Cloud Applications and Services, you should have the Windows Azure Tools for Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 installed in your system.
The Windows Azure Tools for Visual Studio 2010 includes the Windows Azure SDK. The Windows Azure Tools for Visual Studio 2010 also allows you to add and remove roles from the Cloud Service. The supported operating systems include: Windows 7, Windows Server 2008, Windows Server 2008 R2 and Windows Vista. You can also use these tools to monitor your services through the "compute" node in the Solution Explorer window.
