ASTM International 2008 Advantage Award Competition

ASTM International, one of the world's largest Standards developing organizations, is accepting papers for the 2008 ASTM Advantage Award, a competition with prizes up to $15,000. The award is an opportunity for the users of ASTM International Standards worldwide to convey the positive outcomes of utilizing an ASTM Standard or a group of ASTM Standards.

Original papers are sought that demonstrate the positive impact of using ASTM International Standards, and which provide background information and data showing such values as cost savings, efficiency, market access, etc. The deadline for submissions is June 2, 2008. The cash prizes are $15,000 for the first prize, $10,000 for the second prize, and $5,000 for the third prize. Winning papers will be published in ASTM International's bimonthly magazine, Standardization News.

More information for the 2008 ASTM Advantage Award, including competition rules, submission requirements, and entry forms, is posted on the ASTM International website.
