NXP announced their Cortex-M0 LPC110 Design Challenge with the tag line "What can you do with 65 cents?" Apparently at 10,000 quantities the CPU costs about 65 cents making it very competitive with other low cost CPU options. According to NXP, entrants who provide an abstract and an approved block diagram will receive a free copy of the LPCXpresso toolchain. The entry deadline is 31 March.
