Typemock Updates Isolator Testing Tool

Typemock, a developer of unit testing tools, has announced version 5.2 of its Typemock Isolator. Among other features, Version 5.2 includes a new provides VB .NET developers with a simple API to help get them started unit testing quickly and easily.

Isolator helps software developers write tests without changing code just to make it testable. It even lets developers fake NonInheritable classes and Shared methods, which make VB .NET unit testing easier.

"The Visual Basic-friendly API found in Isolator version 5.2 was designed with VB .NET in mind, making Isolator one of the only isolation frameworks where VB .NET is a first class test language," said Typemock's Gil Zilberfeld. Microsoft's Matt Carter added that "Typemock's Isolator simplifies the application development process by providing a dedicated API for full Visual Basic .NET unit testing support."
