Infragistics Releases Silverlight Controls

Infragistics has released two new Silverlight Community Technology Previews (CTPs) and two new NetAdvantage ICONS packs. NetAdvantage's Silverlight for Line of Business CTP includes Silverlight RIA services support, a ZIP compression library, a new control persistence framework, and new Silverlight data grid features like unbound columns and template layouts, plus an Office 2007-style ribbon.

In addition to its new Pivot Grid that gives stakeholders an easy-to-read view of multi-dimensional data, the NetAdvantage for Silverlight Data Visualization CTP includes a Silverlight charting control that allows fast updates every few milliseconds to charts with millions of data points.

Also available immediately are two new NetAdvantage ICONS Packs enabling developers to "plug-in" thematic graphics to UIs across all platforms. The NetAdvantage ICONS Legal Pack adds a touch of legalese to any application UI with its legal system-themed graphic icons. The NetAdvantage ICONS Education Pack supplies familiar, academic icons that developers can easily add to software reaching students, educators, schools and universities.
