Typemock Trumpets Tailored Testing Tools

Typemock has produced three new editions of the Typemock Isolator unit-testing tool labelled Basic, Essential, and Complete level packages. Targeted towards developers at differing skillsets and in different levels of usage advancement, the Basic package is free and is best suited to code quality environments where there is no legacy code to test.

Typemock Isolator Basic provides basic "mocking" functionality along with the smartrunner and coverage indicator features only. Isolator Essential adds full mocking capabilities for developers that are committed to Test Driven Development (TDD) and unit testing. Its makers say that it works "even for legacy code" in all of .NET, including SharePoint, ASP.NET and ASP.NET MVC, and C#.

Isolator Complete is a more complete unit-testing package and includes the autocompletion tool as well as productivity metrics for real ROI tracking and an advanced ASP.NET and ASP.NET MVC test simulator.

"We believe that every professional developer should be able to unit test their own code," said Eli Lopian, CEO of Typemock. "Unit testing is an essential development practice for every professional developer. By offering developers a range of packages for their differing needs, Typemock is showing its commitment to developers and companies looking to release quality software and help promote unit testing to the entire community, regardless of their level. Our range of unit testing solutions make easy unit testing a reality for everyone."
