Axosoft has released a new version of its OnTime Scrum project management software. The new version is now offered as the "OnTime Dev Suite," consisting of three integrated products, OnTime Scrum, OnTime Help Desk, and OnTime Team Wiki.
The company has devoted most of its supporting publicity for this release to highlighting what calls a drastic price drop. "We're making it easier for small development teams to afford a cohesive and easy-to-use enterprise-level Scrum product," said Hamid Shojaee, CEO of Axosoft.
Looking at the product family more closely: OnTime Scrum, a project-management and bug-tracking tool built on HTML5 technology, manages a developer team's backlog, sprints, and code defects. It also includes a planning board and automatic burndown charts.
Element number two is OnTime Help Desk, a customer support tool for software applications to help to bridge the gap between a developer team and its customers with ticketing, incident tracking, and a web-based self-service portal for customers. Finally there is OnTime Team Wiki, a project wiki for collaborative development teams to provide central collaboration and secure storage for all project-related documents.
Developer teams can use any one, two, or all three of the products together — previously, OnTime software was an all-in-one package.
