Parental Levels
The initial wave of DVD titles had no parental enforcement. The second generation of titles (such as Disney and Universal) have parental controls, but are buggy. For example, Disney content requires players to be at Parental Level Eight (see Examples 1 and 2) before playback can commence, but Level Eight isn't even defined for the United States! Hopefully, as the content matures, parental enforcement will be less problematic.
