Dr. Dobb's Bloggers

Welcome to 2011

January 23, 2011

I want to wish the Dr Dobb's community a (belated) happy new year, and promise that I'll be more regular in my contributions over the coming 12 months.

In 2011 I'm hoping to finish various tasks that have been on the boil for some years, including my current major commercial engagement, at least one book, a series of articles on diagnostics (here on Dr Dobb's), a final non-beta release of a couple of my open source libraries, and also to bring my company website - I'm not giving you a link, so you can't look at the shame! - into the 21st-century. I'm also planning to make the move away from Windows as the dominant platform within my company network, although it'll likely to continue to figure large in commercial activities.

Most/all of these things I will blog about in one way or another, and I'll try to make them as interesting as I am able. I thank you in advance for your attention.

Matt
