ICBM Onboard Computer

Minuteman Intercontinental Ballistic Missiles (ICBMs) of the Cold War Era were guided by this Minuteman I Missile Guidance Computer. Housed inside the rocket itself (thus the round shape), the $234,000 computer controlled the inertial guidance system and diagnostic checks on the rocket system.
